swap stock deck for stock deck or buy a new one?

i recently found out that my vy's deck isnt actually stock, its a stock deck from a vy ute. so my back speakers werent working. should i buy a vy sedan deck and swap them out or just upgrade now?

good point. well i want a respectable stereo, but im paranoid about changing too much in my car. and if i change the deck i still want to be able to use my steering wheel controls

Personally i am starting to like the OEM look, With a bit of Greg's work (ASR) you can get your stock head unit pretty cool, By this i mean set it up ready for amplifiers. And different color LED's and what not. By the looks of your other Thread you would need a sedan H/U though, So your probably looking at $100 just for that.

On the other hand you could get a nice Alpine double din, To have your steering wheel controls you will also need a certain lead - Forget what this is called but you are looking at $200 upwards.
