Vy SS Gen 3 will not start

Hey guys just brought another gen3 but im having troubles with this one it will not start. it has a good battery it cranks over once and then nothing doesnt even sound like its going to start. I think maybe the starter motor but its such a prick to get to.. the dash and radio rests after a few times of restarting . and i tried good jumper leads they got hot so i asume the starter motor is taking to much current.. but who knows any suggestions..

Does it crank with plugs out? If it does, what's it sound like, regular crank?? Could be a set of dead windings in the motor... To hard to tell on a forum to be honest as really the list can go on and on.

Dead keyhead would be my guess. When the BCM doesn't get a clear signal from the keyhead it just acts dumb and makes out like shit doesn't work.

When you turn the key to the 'on' position is the immobilizer light still flashing on the dash? if so I think you may have a problem with your key...

I agree with chargedvx6 & doobs, sound like a key. Make sure that the key head is secured to the button section properley (2 x phillip head screws).
