Default VY V6 Engine in a Vr Commodore PROBLEMS!!

Ok so im very confused and angry at why mr car is doing this problem..?

I got VY V6 IN A VR COMY.. It has lsd, 3:4:5 gears, VS Supercharge cold air intake, Pacemaker extractors, REDBACK 2.5 INCH SPORTS EXHUAST.. i have two questions now??

    1. what mods do i need to do in order to get more low end power, more torque?

    2. When i have been doing burnouts at my dads factory area.. every time i stall it up to 5rpm, it just drops straight down to 2 rpm, like it bogs out and it frustrates me, mr vr v6 never used to do this when i stalled it up, how can i fix this problem so it keeps on going and doesn't bog out??

well for starters a vy is alot heavy about 1600kg a vr is about 1300kg so thats one reason your vy will bog down mine does to with the 18's on with 15's on it wont as stated about supercharger will stop it from bottoming out or remove some the extra weight things like the spare tyre jack pack empty your boot all this shit adds up like put a pram and baby seat in your car there is another 100 odd kg everything you remove from the back of the car that isnt needed will make it easier on the car and the + side you will use less petrol to

I think hes saying hes got the motor from a VY into his VR and its cutting the engine when trying to do a burnout, which would soundlike the TC is turned on?

Supercharger will give more power but not right down the bottom, got to remember it needs engine revs to spool up for enough boost, sitting it on 5k will get it there as soon as you drop the clutch it will try use that boost to keep power / torque.

Has the car got the TC button, cause it sounds familar with what my VY will do if i loose traction.

may be a computer fault or the throttle body cable may have come loose if its not the TC

no it doesnt have traction control.. its a vy v6 engine in a vr commy with the VS Wiring loom and ECU.. jUST PISSES ME OFF, I spool it up hard to about 5500rpm and then it just bogs down to 2000rpm, doesn't make sense, shouldn't it just stay up to 5-6000rpm while spooling it on the spot?

when i drive it, it drives very good, but just for burnouts it bogs, is it maybe cause its got IRS? SHIT BRAKES? ECU FAULTY? ACCELERATOR LOOSE? I DUNO NEED HELP

Actually, I was mostly being facetious, but I'd point out that a Roots-style blower displaces a fixed volume of air per engine revolution - so in fact no "spooling" required

On a more serious note, the OP's problem sounds like some kind of engine management issue, if wheel slip is detected it could be traction control, but I'm not sure VR's had the hardware required to do this? It could be the gearbox anti-abuse feature? I think it should probably be taken to an experienced tuner to tinker with.

this may sound stupid but could it be the rear brakes preventing it from passing 2000rpm?

I don't know, but if you tell people what area you live in someone else might?
