Suspension Bushes.

Hi Fellas,
Im new to JC, I was wondering whether you could help me please, two weeks back i changed the castor radius bushes (front) and at that time i was told by the mechanic that my power steering rack in my VY series 1 wagon was leaking from the left side,he said that the leak is not that bad but in the net 3-6 months it will be really bad, he also enquired and found that a reco power steering rack would be $350 supplied and fitted or i have togo for a new one,my wagon has done 157000kms is this quite normal???also is reco better than new part?? do you know roughly how much a new one costs from GMH??? ( i know it will be as expensive as always ) Also i was asked to change the bushes which is on the strut bar to lower control arm (front) and sway link bar bushes as well,while im doing this is there anything else that you would recommend me to change as in any other bushes while im doing this? please advice friends as i would also like to value other people's inputs before deciding, thanks!!!

$350 supplied and fitted?? I've been quoted from $500 to $1000!!
