Hello All,
I am a new member and a proud new owner of a VY Cailais Supercharged 6.
I was wondering what are some easy and relatively inexpensive mods that I can do to my car.
I have done a little bit of research in to what I may be able to get but no prices as yet, for pulleys, exhausts etc. I live in Adelaide and was wondering whether anyone knows a good workshop or person that I could speak to.
I am also looking at replacing the head unit, to another 2 din unit, either a DVD or one that incorporates GPS Navigation. I am a little sceptical however as to how to get the steering wheel buttons to still work.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
I am also a new member and haven't noticed that many other VY supercharged owners around. I have an 04 S Pac Supercharged and have done quite a few mods including a double din head unit. The best bang for buck mod is a pulley upgrade from factory 4psi to 10 psi.
Good increase in torque and power straight up. And depending on the head unit you buy, some of them do cater for the steering wheel switches, you just need to connect them from the old harness.

I have just bought a pioneer avic f900bt I pick it up tomorrow will leg you know how it goes.
I think I will also do the pulley and probably end up getting a set if extractors. I have heard that you donelt need the rest of the exhaust unless you want the sound. Is this correct or is my realsearch off?
An 87mm pulley us a great start with the L67s. Make sure the fuel filter is servicable and run on 98 octane and you'll enjoy the improvement.

Plenty of VY L67s on there. The rules for modding the L67 are pretty much the same regardless of what car they are in though
