Hi there, the projector lights on my berlina are not dull, but they look dirty on the inside when viewed from an angle. I don't mean the outside glass casing...although that is a bit grubby too but i think its a sealed unit and needs to be heated to be prised apart. I mean the actual glass rounded lense of the projector light.
Ill try an upload some photos soon.
I tried getting the globe out today from the rear and it all seems a little complicated and fiddly.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to clean the inside of the projector lense?
Plus is it worth buying any aftermarket globes to fit?
Does the car get left outside?
Prob the only way to clean the inside is to prise apart the housing from the lense.
First recitfy the issue with the foggy lense, then see how u go.

My Berlina's lense is also foggy, but I thought this was just normal. Looking at some pics of my dads old VY Berlina when he first bought it back in 2003, the lights are also foggy.
I think it depends on whether you are talking about the actual light cover, or the little projector dome itself. If you are talking about the dome, I think its meant to be foggy tbh however if the inside of the plastic light cover is foggy then I don't think it should be... Mine is crystal clear.

I wouldn't worry about it too much mate. Mine is the same, today I've been looking at some berlina's sitting around in carparks and they are the same. Also, my uncles Calais (same projector lamps) is the same. I think that murkiness is meant to be there...however I might be concerned if you look at it oneday and its brown murky or black haha.
haha if it starts to grow algae on the inside of the lamp then yes i think i may be a little concerned.
One of mine is like this, the other is crystal clear. The murkyness/haze is from moisture getting in and condensing on the inside of the glass dome.
I got the murky one about 50% better by wrapping a strip of foam with a low-lint tissue and attached it to the end of a long screw driver, then i poked it in and wiped the glass. Essentially you have a flappy cleaning device that can reach around the metal baffle inside and clean the half of the lens you can't see when looking through the bulb hole.
You just have to be extremely careful you don't drop anything in there because if you can't disassemble the projector (not sure if you can, i haven't tried) it could be hard to get out.
