Just thought Id place this thread.Had a problem with the power windows not lowering down without flicking the buttons.Once down the windows returned up with no problems.After swapping the switch,lubricating the window rubbers,checking for bad earth,checking and changing fuses and relays as when trying to get the windows down a noise like a relay operating was noticed.Even swapped the BCM from a mates ute to no avail.The noise was isolated to the BCM and as we checked to main connections to the BCM the windows worked correctly.We found the wiring harness closest to the outside of the car was not routed to allow it to keep contact.
