hey people, this question is probs been asked a million times so im sorry.
what is the best clutch i should be getting?
bit of info on the car.
VY series II SS ute. 6speed manual (of course), LS1! has 372HP at the wheels, but will be goin alot more in the near future.
i will be abusing the clutch alot as i plan to do alot of drags, also with burnout comps. wont be used as a daily car.
i have looked at NPC single plate clutch kits. price for one is $1400
Heavy Duty Clutch Kit
also looked at Textralia Z grip clutch kit, price $1450
OZ 700 Series Z Grip Textralia performance clutches [Holden VTII - VZ] - $1,450.00 : Textralia, Precision Performance
i have also recently changed my mind to look into twin plate clutch kits, so can anyone point me into the right direction
i dont want a clutch that is going to be a pain to drive around town in, but something that will hold together when i need it to be.

want to see more then a typical commodore fitted with an exhuast, then check my thread out... link broken cuase i dont own a tuff car, i just made it up...
Ring Doug at NPC. Tell what you are doing with the car and how much torque and power the car is making.
He will be able to get a setup that will do the job for you.

Yeah I know who you are talking about, she can come across as a bit of a rude cow, which is unfortunate.
Sometimes you may have to wait for Doug to ring you back as I know he is a pretty busy boy, but believe me it is worth it.

yeah, seeing as your chasing big power tex clutch is the way to go,
i went for an extreme street hd clutch but i wont be chasing huge numbers
Chev badges are an instant fail
Z-Grip is fine around town, i run one myself with plenty of poke, you just gotta give it a few more revs than normal when taking off from a stop.
Those who complain about them realy need to learn how to drive.
They also handle high HP and abuse realy well.

any other TEX owners please help me on this.
