Default Bleeding the Clutch on a VY SS Manual Ute

Could anyone please tell me how to bleed the clutch on my VY SS Manual Ute. I have had the NRMA out this morning and they have confirmed that it just needed a top up of fluid, however the line now needs to be bled.

    Cheers

You will need help as one will have to loosen the bleed nipple on the clutch actuator the other pushing on the clutch pedal.. Just like bleeding brakes but without the fear of stuffing up ya ABS :P
    Cheers,

Replacing the clutch fluid is made a little tricky because of the location of the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder which is inside the bell housing. Best suggestion is to install an Xtreme Extended Clutch Bleeder part number CSCGM011-EXTBL. I purchased one recently from Bursons for $17. Remove the old bleeder by using double sided tape inside a long 7/16" socket (to make sure the old one doesn't slip inside the bell housing). Slide in the extended bleeder and make sure you fully tighten the new bleeder before loosening it slightly for the bleed. It winds in quite a long way. You can then bleed the clutch in the same way as you do brakes - siphon out the old fluid from the clutch master cylinder (I use a turkey baster !!!), mop the remaining junk out of the master cylinder using a rag or kitchen paper, fill with new fluid and bleed. Make sure you keep up the fluid level in the master cylinder because the capacity of the cylinder is only sufficient for about three pumps of the clutch pedal.

    Hey all.

My clutch fluid looks black and has lumps (apparently this means slave or master cylinder could by on it's way out). How hard is it to get to the bleed nipple and where is the access? Drivers or passenger side, top bottom etc

    Thanks in advance
