    Default VY 19'' Rim Question..

    Hi everyone,

Just joined up today, former Ford XR6 owner

I'm looking at getting a VY S-Pack and am looking to get some 19'' rims.

Can someone tell me if 19" x 8" HSV Vy Signature Senator Wheels with 245 x 35 maxx sports
directional low profile tyres will fit a VY S-Pack with no issues? I have a set of these lined up and if
there is no problem, i'll buy them.

This is with standard suspension. I looked over the FAQ but couldn't find anything
exactly answering what I was looking for.

    Thanks in advance.

the tyres are the right size for a vy, i wouldnt know about the wheels, im assuming they would fit as alot of people on here have hsv wheels on there vy/vz so i dont think you will have a problem. what made u get rid of the ford?

Thanks mate, i'm a blank when it comes to wheels & tyres so just want to make sure everything is on the up and up before I purchase them.

Needed a change to be honest, I don't mind the BA XR6's but i'm a Holden person at heart.

Yep - 100% good on stock suspension.

    Just another question guys,

Would I have a problem lowering my car on the tyres in the OP? For instance SL in the front SSL in the back with new shocks. I take it i'd need a camber kit at least, but would there be any rubbing at all?

I cant say for sure mate but i would doubt it. At worst you may need to lip or roll your gaurds. This is easily done with a heat gun and soft rubber mallet, or get a shop like ozzy tyres to do it.
If your thinking suspension, check out the site sponsor gsl rally sport, Greg will hook you up with great gear at an unbeatable price. Springs, shocks, camber kit, the lot delivered.

    Cheers.
