    Default HoneyComb front grill

What do you guys think of it on a series 2 Berlina? And would you say its hard to make?

    Cheers

well if you are talking about the grille with the badge on it, then its a straight swap from a series II Calais, and it looks great (i have it on mine). If you are talking about the fog light grille, then from what I hear, its more than a straight swap over from a Calais. I don't know about making your own, but the mounts and stuff are apparently all different IF you take it straight from a Calais.

Home made modification to the standard Berlina grille. I unclipped the chromed surround from the Berlina grille, cut the horizontal bars out, filled in the gaps in the surround, repainted it satin black and fitted the mesh, badge and chromed surround back on. Later, I replaced that grille with the Series 2 Calais one and sold the Berlina grille on e-bay.

It is a pretty simple job to do if you are handy with a few basic tools.

If somebody wanted one like it, I could make them one up provided they supplied the grille and paid the postage both ways. Labour would be free and I still have the mesh sitting around the garage, so no charge for that either.
