I chucked some steelies on the ute on friday to have a little fun on the weekend. went to remove them today and one is stuck on the hub. i have removed all the wheel nuts and the wheel is off the ground. when i chucked them on, they both went on pretty easy. i have removed the passanger side one with no hassle. went to remove the driver side and no go.
anyone have any tips on how i can remove the wheel?

surely in can only be held on by the center now ? give it a wack but make sure its propperly supported havent really heard of this happening before
Try the passenger side.. Might help...
But on a serious note here, get some WD40 and spray all over where any part of the rim touches the car itself, leave it in the shade and leave it to set in, for 30 mins even, then it should come off easier (with a little help... and here comes the sledge hammer pic)

EDIT: Just read the post above.. Must have popped up when i was typing..LOL
I'd be using a rubber mallet over a sledge hammer.

Cheerz
do some heavy breaking get some heat in to the rims then try it while the rim is hot that might help

Have you tried to prise it/bash it off, or just pulled it off i the normal way?
Loosen the wheel nuts off a few turns and drive up and down the driveway, this should break the hold.
Same thing happened to me recently with my powdercoated rims, and this worked a treat
Like I said, worked for me. Takes a lot less effort too.
Personally I'm not that keen on kicking or hitting my rims with a sledge hammer.
i got the rim off today, sprayed WD40 in the moring. came back at lunch time and sprayed more WD40. normaly i drive the hilux to work and leave the ute at home, but decided to take it to work. finished work and went for a little tuffy around the CBD, then back home and straight on the jack. took nuts off and the wheel just fell off.
thanks fella's
