VY Calais door strips

Hey fellas,

I was just wondering if its possible to buy the chrome side door strip as a seperate item than the entire panel because it looks as if there is room for the strip to fit into, if so what are they actually called and what would be there approximate price,

also EOI, looking at getting some 18" VY SS wheels if anyone has any

No, they are not sold separately. The full door mouldings are very exxy. There was a bloke selling adhesive sided stainless steel trims for exactly this job, on ebay a few months back. I think they were about $70 a set but I don't know if he is still trading.

if you want the genuine moulds from holden, make sure u dont have a weak heart when they give u a price im pretty sure they are a few hundred dollars brand new

when i was pulling mine off i thought it would be easier to buy the calais ones instead of remove all the sikaflex

from holden: full set of strips are $770 (called and checked when i wanted them)! and thats not painted! because the calais ones are the same colour as your car you gotta get em sprayed,
long story short i spent the better part of 3 days getting that damb sikaflex off, IMO it looks way better without them
