VY Calais - Beep Coming From Behind The Dash 24/7 causing flat battery!?

Hey guys,

Got a VY Calais S2 V6, didn't drive it for a few days and got a dead flat battery, charged it, started it, everything's sweet then I constantly get a beeping noise coming from behind the dash, happens when the cars locked, unlocked, engine running, driving whatever and is causing the battery to constantly go flat from the beeping.

There's no warning lights or anything flashing on the dash to indicate that something is wrong and all fuses are sweet, any ideas what it could be?

No suggestions on origin of the noise but I suggest you disconnect the battery fully and leave it for an hour. With everything turned off, reconnect the battery and start the car and see if you still have the problem.

wouldn't the battery be disconnected if it was being charged?

yeah already done that mate, and the moment i touch the terminals.. BEEEEEEP!

Sounds like it's time to tear the dash apart? Maybe the previous owner installed some sort of immobiliser

turns out its the drivers side electric seat unit thing under the seat...
time to replace it or sparky?
