Hey guys
My Driver side window is whistling and sometimes you can here wind gushing in.
i went to my local Holden dealer and he said just to give the door frame a good bend towards the car.
What do you guys think?
Have you tried bending the frame first? I don't know honestly, but could need new seals?
Have a look at the seals. If they look good, then bend it and see what happens!

How would you bend the frame towards the car?
I have the same issue.

You said DS "window is whistling".
If the WINDOW is the source of the noise and air entry - as you say it is - then it is a window seal issue - not the door frame. So which is it - the window or the door frame which is noisy and allowing air entry?
Others may have their own ideas but this is what I would do..........................
If it is the window then the first thing to check is that the window is fully closing in it's frame. Compare the DS and PS front windows.. If a window is not fully closed when checking from the outside you will get noise and air entry around the window aperture.
If it is not the window but the top end of the door frame which is the source of the air entry, you should be able to test the spot by closing the door from the inside on a piece of folded paper so that the paper is only gripped between the inner side of the door frame and the rubber seal on the body which runs around the door aperture. The paper should be able to be slid along the upper edges of door frame but not feel very "loose". You may need to try different paper thicknesses. Test it on the passenger door first and then on the problem door. Does it feel the same as on the good door or is it much looser on sections of the DS door upper frame? If that is the source of air entry then it should be looser on the problem door. Check the condition of the rubber seals and that the DS door is properly adjusted and fitted and hence fully closing as designed. Has the DS door has ever been subjected to damage and repair ? If it's a dodgy repair on the door that is the problem you may never get it right.
Bending the door frame to adjust a door to rectify a sealing issue???? What is this - the backwaters of PNG we are living in or Australia 2010?
