Hey guys,
I have a question, is there a how to anywhere to replace the throttle cable etc. Mine has broken at the throttle end, where the bolts tighten it to ensure there is no slack have broken so it is constantly slack and the thread is all gone.
Anyone tell me how to replace this? I have searched but not found much of use... Also any idea on average price for one?
Cheers
Adam
$44 for genuine and in my case they had one in stock. $89 +freight from repco and a 3 day wait. Guess which way I went
Once you get the new cable and have a look at it - and a quick look at how the old one runs it is pretty straight forward.
Pull the old one through the firewall from the engine bay. To unclip it from the engine you manually open throttle (by hand) and unclip it the cable.
good luck..

Yeh mate- you'll be right. it is definately not a mission, from memory a small shifter was all I needed. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. (PM far faster response)
