Hi all, I have a vy maloo r8 im interested in putting coilovers on it but finding parts for holden's in ireland is hard work. I priced a set of HSD's but they told me they can only get them for the monaro an not the ute so im just wondeing is the suspension set up different between the two 2003 based monaro an the 2003 maloo. Also some info on a complete rear end bushing kit would be great an where i could buy the kit.
Being that the monaro is base on the sedan platform and the maloo is based on the ute, the rear end setup would be significantly different. Front end should be a similar setup.
As for a bushing kit, I'd think you'd have to contact an Australian parts supplier, some one like SuperPro should do a kit for the maloo..
Don't know about the coil overs but if you want some good bushes the nolathane sets are usually quite good but will make the ride alot stiffer but i have seen in some cases they wear out very quickly so make sure you grease them up. have a look on ebay for pricing.
Cool thanks guys. I think nolathane is probably the way to go. Is there much of a differance between the nolathane bush an the Polyurethane bush. I better do some more research on getting a coiloverkit pedders seems to pop up a lot there popular over in d uk does any one know wat there like.
