Hi guys does anyone have any info on the fitment of origanal red gts rocker covers to a vy coupe,i know its a dumb question .I had the inlet manifold changed to a wilson and the shop said the covers would not fit back on ,they gave me back the rocker covers but no brackets etc.I orderd new brackets etc and have them now but they look like a machno set without instructions ,i need to trial fit and modify if i have to.
what do you mean they only gave you back the covers without the brackets.
You should have asked for all of your old parts back, inlet manifold included, they belong to you not the shop.
If you don't need them or want them you can always throw away at a later date.
But as you are finding out now you have to buy the brackets even though they may not work to fit the covers on the new manifold anyway.
I find it always pays to keep your old parts.
Ive made more money on selling my last 2 cars as near stock vehicles and selling the performance parts separately.
Afterall a $2000 part on a car may increase its value by a couple of hundred maybe even nothing extra yet you would probably sell the part 2nd hand for $1000+

LOL,remain calm ,i did get all other stuff back origanal rockers, manifold, throttle body all was in a box ,have left that state now so did not realise the brackets were not there. So do you have any knowledge on my bracket problem or where i might source a diagram, have tried a local holden dealer butnot much help.
Sorry didn't mean to sound like I was yelling at you but i've had mates drive away from workshops and leave all the old stuff behind.
I've actually done what you did, thought I had everything only to find later (usually too late) that something was left out so i'm not perfect either.
I was speaking with another LS2 owner a while back and he picked up a L98 manifold from his local garage (not a performance workshop) as some guy had upgraded to a Wiend manifold and just left the old one behind.
A year or so later it was still there and they just said he could take as it was no use to them.
I believe he is now looking for L76/98 heads.
