changing clutch fluid..

My clutch fluid is filthy and i want to change it myself..
Ive been told on the Ls1 its a pain in the ass to do and i was told the best method to use is the syringe method.
Any one do this before? How is it done?

yeah, you can do it the same as you would bleed the brakes on the car, its a bit difficult though as there is a small opening on the LHS of the bellhousing. you will need a 1/4 drive ratchet with a 13mm tube socket or a 1/4 ratchet with uni joint and tube socket (could be wrong with the size as i did mine ages ago) and bleed it like you would bleed the brakes. HEAPS easier on a hoist!

Yeh i have tried it that way before, not easy very messy and like you said its much easier on a hoist.
