Ok, so i know one will do the whoel ABS thign and one will not, but im looking to put a LSD in my V6 ute and want to know if its ok to use a SS diff which can run abs?? is it a huge deal weather i get a ABS diff or not?? I havnt got ABS, and i dont plan on running it either
Are you sure you haven't got ABS? I thought all VYs had ABS as standard?
The internals of the diff are the same. It will bolt straight up and will run fine
VYII Calais L67
internals are the same but stronger. if you don't have abs, and you buy an abs diff, you just won't be plugging the abs sensors in.

Need your computer tuned, or dash calibrated??? Want your PS3 fixed, or wish to prevent the YLOD?
deffinatly dont have abs. known from experiance with idiot sydney drivers!!
cheers guys!![]()
the abs runs off the inner cv shaft joint on the axel, there is a toothed wheel that the abs sensor works on, so maybe apart from a cast lug that the sensor sit in it the same abs or not.
Please post a pic of your engine bay. I thought ABS was standard equipment??????????
abs is not standard equipment on all vy's. my ute does not have abs either. I have just upgraded from a V6 LSD with 3.08 ratio to a VZ SS 3.07 LSD diff. only difference is stronger internals.
also the vz diff has the abs plugs on it. but I just didn't need to connect them. it is still a straight swap.
PS selling my old LSD v6 3.08 diff for $100.
