check the A/c / BLower fuse first. then post result of that.

Need your computer tuned, or dash calibrated??? Want your PS3 fixed, or wish to prevent the YLOD?

Maybe check the power for the fan hasnt fallen off under the glove box, or something simple like that.
Theres also a white card with solder on it that sits behind the glovebox to the top right, although if thats gone it think it'll still work on maximum speed.
Other thing i'd do is take it out (just 3 screws) and apply 12v to the fan on the bench to see if it goes.

check the plug on the fan is receiving power with a multimeter, If it is then try applying power to it manually (cables direct from battery).

Same thing happened to my VYII Adventra, It was the heater fan resistor unit. I bought one off ebay and installed it into the side of the fan housing under the glove box. It worked 100% after that. Be careful though, there is a difference between the Berlina type and std heater resistor units. Mine was the Berlina type with 3 pins connector, the std type has 2 pins. this link shows a typical 2 pin type - HOLDEN COMMODORE VY HEATER FAN SPEED SWITCH RESISTER - eBay Other, Air Conditioning, Heating, Car, Truck Parts, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 18-Oct-10 12:15:31 AEDST). This one for the 3 pin type - HOLDEN COMMODORE VY BERLINA CLIMATE FAN RESISTOR - eBay Heater Parts, Air Conditioning, Heating, Car, Truck Parts, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 19-Oct-10 11:03:35 AEDST). Hope this helps out some.
