VY Wagon Too Firm in Rear With New KYBs

I replaced the stock rear shocks(1 was leaking) with new KYBs and the ride seems hard as hell. I have given it a month to settle but no change - seems to feel every bump in the road. Running factory VZ Alloys - 215 60 16s at about 36PSI.

considering you only have 16's take the rear pressure down to 30-32. see what happens with the ride.

KYB's are inherently Firmer than stock suspension, and most people like that, but not when daily driving.

What springs are you running, std or hd lowereds

Factory standard springs front and rear - only replaced rear shocks.

Sounds like you would have been better off with Monroe GT Gas (not the Sports) or Monroe Sensatracs.
I've got KYB Yellow adjustables used with HSV springs and compared to my old VS with Kings lowereds my current cars ride is excellent for a performance car.
