    Post Mafless Tune

I have VYSS gen II. I have been looking at doing a mafless tune, what are the benefits? Would i be able to tell my car has all ready had a mafless tune as i knowi have the SS induction kit on the car.
Also would my car be louder?

Mafless will give you more power and won't make your car any louder. If you're going mafless i'd suggest getting yourself a decent otr to go with it.

I think you have a typo... GEN III not Gen II.

    Won’t be louder.
    Better fuel economy/mileage.
    Smother running.
    Increased/better throttle response.
    Increase in performance.
You never said if it’s an auto or manual.... If it’s an auto, get the tuner to tweak it a little(Not sure what they do...lol)

AND... get rid of the SS reduction crap and get a descent CAI OTR(Cold Air Induction / Over The Radiator) as the above will be even better.

for best results, be sure to put on a nice exhaust including high flow cats and headers. Then go straight with a mafless tune and OTR CAI (over the radiator cold air intake). You will get better fuel economy and more power/throttle responce. No point getting a MAF tune if your planning on getting a MAFLESS tune. Goodluck with your car!

As stated the ss induction kit is just trash, so take it off and get an otr. There are all sorts of brands around but ones like the VCM and Duspeed are at the top of the tree and will get you good gains in power with your mafless tune. As mentioned an exhaust also makes quite a difference too. Best thing to do would be to put up what you've already done to the car.

If you are planning on getting your car mafless tuned, the reason why I suggest getting a good exhaust, high flow cats + headers is because once you have tuned your car you can't go throwing these things on without having to retune it.. Which will cost you money. The best thing to do is put on whatever mods you will want to put on your car first and leave the tuning part for last as other people have stated.. Get rid of that crap SS induction kit and go for an OTR. Ramjet also make a good OTR. I have one on mine and it's awesome

I went a set of Pacemaker extractors, twin 2.5" mild steel exhaust, Yella Terra OTR and Mafless. Best money i ever spent. That's on a VYSS uterus too. Only problem is it spins the wheels a little too easily now Got the lot for about $3300 give or take (parts and labour).

If your not out for all out power the Growler is fine, probably better off spending the $5-600 you'd be spending on an OTR towards the tune itself or a decent exhaust system.

One thing I'd say before you go and spend $2K+ on an exhaust and OTR - you can still get good results from a mafless tune (typically 40rwkw or 20-25%) even with the stock exhaust and intake. Although you'd probably get another 15-20rwkw on top with an exhaust and OTR
