Default my car has a water leak =( what are common faults

    car. 03 r8II

on wednesday i got into my car and the 'low coolant; light was on so i topped it up and drove to the sydney motor show (was really good)
today i went out there and there was water just dripping from under the car the stone guard.
i checked the water and it was under full but over min so i started it up and it leaked faster for a bit then just stopped leaking

so im thinking there is obviously a leak somewhere its not coming from the radiator and it doesnt leak once the car is warm.

    any ideas ?
radiator was replaced a year ago.

It still sound like it's coming from the radiator

could be radaitor end tanks/ or a split core, even a split radaitor hose. if its the radaitor, you mas as well get a PWR radaitor.

a PWR will give you heaps of boost with your raptor kit....

on a serous note, PWR is the one i'd be investing on.

Yeah more power without impacting drivability - sounds terrible eh?

How so?.. Have you had any personal experience with raptor superchargers? From what I've read and from what I've personally seen on my friends cars. Raptor chargers go hard and I'd be happy to have one fitted to my daily driver. Please, If your going to bad mouth a forum sponsor, at least backup your statements with some facts.

Have you checked to see if any of your hose connections are loose? Could also be a cracked hose.. Or a crack in the radiator and it expands when warm closing the crack up?

    ok.
    i am sorry.
i was not giving him or his products a direct put down i have no doubt they are of maximum quality.
what i was referring to is after much research i dont like the idea of how centrifugal super chargers work.... better phrased?

no not yet but i will be going fully over the cooling system and i have a pressure tester in the shed.. somewhere.
and that is what i was thinking with a possible crack.
