with the new release of the ve's and stuff they are depreciating that little bit more.
although it is a ute, hold there value.

I'd guess $15-16k tops. Relatively high Km, $4500 stereo = $0 for resale value.

The high KMS are the killer unfortunately and you are competing with a lot of cars with much lower kms on them. You cannot ask the same or similar money for a high KM car and expect to pull in buyers.

The expensive stereo adds virtually zero value to the car on the used car market. It might help the sale to a person who believes stereos are important.

If you look up comparable cars with similar KMS on CARSALES.COM.AU in your area you will get a good feel on asking prices and kms. Don't assume people are getting their asking prices. There are heaps of over priced cars on the market of all varieties. Also check out the valuation section of the site which will give you a good guide on your car's possible value. (This is under the "Research Cars" tab).

    Good luck with the sale.
