Hi guys, didn't know whether or not this belonged here or in the electrical section, here goes anyway.
I recently upgraded my headlights from the stock v6 type to the SS style headlight. It seems my lights are facing downward and not projecting far forward. I had a browse through the handbook but all it mentions is the dimming of the internal controls etc and nothing about adjusting the headlights.
Whats the easiest way to go with adjusting them? Am I better off seeing the auto electrician?
Cheers
Headlight beam adjustment
When you do it park it in front of a wall about 5 metres back and you can see where the lights are pointing and get them level and make sure they dont point up in the air above some ones boot and blind them in their mirrors.
If they sit above ppls bootlid then adjust them back down, dont leave it like that.
I just checked my vy, the height adjustment screw is in very plain sight, there are arrows on the light pointing to its location.
However the horizontal adjustment screw is on the outer half of the light, making it difficult to get to. I dont know whats involved with removing the light but it would seem the thing to do.
