Central locking problem

HEY i have on 04 acclaim series 2 v6 i had a problem with the l/h/r door not unlocking or locking with the buttons so was unlocking it manually now it has seemed to seize up and wont unlock has anyone had this problem before if so how did u fix it or get the door open?

Yup I had the exact same problem with my Series 2 Berlina. L/H Front passenger door did it to me. It wouldnt unlock from the remote but it would lock with the remote. Then Decided it would do both and I thought it was going to be fine. It crapped out on me and I too was unlocking it manually untill it finally gave up on me when i dead locked the car and I couldn't unlock the door at all. Gave it a go with jiggling the lock know and yelling and swearing but to no avail.

Took it to the Holden dealership and they said they'd have to 'break into' my car to fix it. I had previously taken the car into them before for this and it made me look like an idiot by working perfectly for them. However not the case this time.

It was diagnosed as the lock solenoid.

From memory it cost me approx $250 +GST (NZ Dollars and before the gst increase happened) alone for the solenoid, and then the additional hour or so's labour.
