how to take off the back bumper (black plastic insert in the middle)

Hey guys just was wondering how to take off the center back plastic on the rear bumper on a s pack sedan i want to re paint it cuz mine is a bit faded and i dont want to break the clips if it held on by clips

It is held in by about 20 little lugs (plastic) on the outer circumference of the garnish,that press into mating plastic holders in the bumper, you need to carefully work your way along the top & bottom of the black garnish with a paint spatula finding the lugs 7 levering them out one by one. You will have to prise off the reflectors each end (if fitted ) too same method because the lugs on them go right thru the garnish to the bumper. If you break some lugs dont worry , you just use silastic on the back of the garnish when you reinstal it. GMH just love their plastic lugs!!!!!
