Hey guys
How much should I be expecting to pay for 2 new front brake pads and a brake fluid flush?
Also, does anyone know any good places in Perth (north of river) which will do it?
So far I've been quoted $200 and $275

Sick of paying too much for high performance brake pads? Want high performance and cold bite with low rotor wear?

I just had my VY brake fluid replaced, it cost me $53. the actual labour charge was around $30 to $40. With the brake pads it depends on what type of pads will be fitted. For example genuine or Bendix Ultimate are a lot more expensive than budget brands from Super Cheap, fitting them does not take very long.
So to answer your question if there using cheap pads in the say $30 range $275.00 seems a bit expensive to me.
From the receipt from my 210,000km service:
Holden front brake pads $118.65
Machine front brake disc rotors $70
Brake fluid $5
Plus labour.

Gibbons Holden Wanted just over $800 for my wifes front disk and pads changed on her vy exec wagon,
Most Holden Dealers are a rip off. I was quoted $350 to $400 for a service that cost me $90 in parts and by the service booklet allows 1.5 hours! And it's probably done by an apprentice on $15 an hour. My car had just had a Holden service before I bought it and new brake pads, machined discs. The discs were all over the shop thickness wise and one was just under minimum.
