I plan on getting one of these off ebay probably a Redback.

They just bolt on right? Then just a matter of attaching some exhaust tips?

Yep,bolts straight up.

Make sure you get the one with rear muffler and not just the middle,will sound arsse otherwise.

try lukey exhausts if redback dont have the rear muffler

you can get the redback with the muffler, just have to find it. Should be afew shops that give you the option of the rear muffler. ive had a redback kit with the muffler on and without it on. I rather it off, havnt got any drone for some reason (or it might just not bother me)

I find it a more racey sound. With the muffler it lost noise at around 3k, without muffler it just keeps going and going.
But again, this is personal opinion

Not really after a particularly loud exhaust, just a nice note harder than the stock.

Has anyone dealt with Supercat exhausts? I can pick one up with rear muffler for cheaper than the redback, just wondering how they fair.

I do the Manta cat backs. I can do one without the rear resi for $185. I also deal with Supercat but they are made in China, no big deal though, just a cheaper alternative with the same 2 year warranty. I can do the Supercat system for $230.
