Windows/Cruise

Hey everyone
I own an 03 VY Ute only the base model. Its all done up looking awesome.
I want to put factory electric windows in and factory cruise control.
Can anyone help me with ways to do this plus cost and list of parts i will need to purchase??

dont know about the cruise, im assuming tho it wont be cheap. As far as i know the units arnt avalible from holden anymore and the only way youll find one is at a junkyard coz i wouldnt think alot of people would take them out. Deffinatly nto cheap and deffinatly not something to tackle alone. To many sensors and to many important connections

Electric window regulators arnt as hard to come by, looking at around $100 each. They need to be popriveted to the door, best to find a diagram or door with them already on to see where it needs to be mounted. Then all ou need to do is hook them to a 12v system Via a relay and window switches. However the difficulty is fixing them in place and getting them right, again best left to a profesional depending on your confidence

thanks dude. i seen on another thread that a factory cruise kit would be around $200 from a wrecker and a bloke got his fitted by holden for $150.
dont know how accurate that actually is but yeah.

yeah i was thinking of going to a wreckers and asking if i could pull the door trim off to see behind at what needs to be done and where the regulators are actually mounted. My mate knows how to do them so if i get the parts and a diagram shouldnt be hard. Wiring isnt the issue coz im an electrician so that is the easy part lol. i found a pair of regulators on ebay genuine VY ones for $120 a pair. and the factory switch block was 45

is your ute the base model or S Pack?
