Is a VY commodore electric side mirror compatible with VY S1berlina

Hi all

does anyone know the if the VY commodore side mirror compatible with the VY berlina model or are there subtle differences. Does anyone know how if the colour coded part on the mirror is easily removed, eg. where are the clips so I don't break them etc.

Does anyone alos know how to remove the mirror head and not the whole assembly.

The mirrors are the same. The coloured part (called a scalp) is a separate piece that unclips. Can't help with the location of the clips but there are a couple each on top and bottom. A broad, thin blade inserted between the bottom of the scalp and the body of the mirror should enable you to unclip it.

I don't think the mirror is designed to be dismantled the way you ask. It is removed and replaced as a whole unit, not in halves.
