Hello,
I been looking online to find out what this is? Is it to protect the diff? I seemed to have hit something and its dragged it off. Is it important to get it replaced asap? Just sussing it out as all the mechanics are closing down soon and will be driving to Melbourne from Brisbane
Thanks

Foil under the car is generaly to protect the floorpan from heat from the exhaust.
I know there is a large one at the rear near the rear resinator/muffler that protects the fuel tank from heat.
There may also be a pair at the front, smaller ones protecting the steering rack boots from the exhaust heating them up and cracking them.
