    Default VY Water leak

Hey guys ive a bit of a problem with my vy maloo R8. Behind the drivers seat is soaked so bad its like a wee puddle in there, anybody on here ever come across this problem could it be something to do with the way the cab extention is bolted to the cab. Any help would be much appreciated as it rains a lot in ireland.

    1. Water could be entering via a faulty seal at the base of the rear window. (The rear window base design always looks to me like a water trap on the Utes so the rear window seals need to be doing their job).

    2. Alternatively one of the door bases may be filling with water during heavy rain and water is entering from under the bottom rear section of the door trim and running to the rear of the cabin area. Check your door drain holes to make sure they are free of debris and you are getting maximum drainage.

    3. If the plastic sheet seal on one of the doors under the door trim has lifted water can enter the vehicle from under the trim rather than running to the bottom of the door and out via the drain holes.
