    Default Speed warning message

Bit of a noob question but I can't figure out how to turn the warning off on my dash. The highest it goes to is 110 km! I do a lot of travelling on long open roads so you can imagine my frustration

    Any ideas?

Do you mean the overspeed alert? Press mode button once and the overspeed will be displayed, press up or down arrows to change it in 5kp/h increments.

hold the up and down button at the same time, or whatever the VY has to do to reset the trip computer. At least, that is how to do it on a VT.

    Awesome inbetweeners pic.

i managed to turn mine off after fiddling around with it traveling around 80km.
i held down the mode to set it,
then pressed mode, then held mode,

something along these lines, and it actuallys says "speed off" which is great :"D

First step.. Did you check the owners manual. From memory the VY book even tells you how to reset the service due reminder, something they left out of the VZ book.

Anyway, I believe you hold the up & down arrows when you turn the ignition on. This will give you, all your headlight timings and the o'speed setting. From memory. I'd check but I'm in the work car.
    I aim to misbehave.

Hey siggs, have you tried the method that I posted^^ a few posts up? Because unless there is something seriously wrong with your computer you should be able to set the o'speed to any speed using this method.

LOL. I had mine set at 110, but found that it pissed me off too much, so it's now set at 115, only hear it when overtaking sometimes.

Well that would be a silly thing to say on a open forum as you may find with your above quote a less than desirable out come.
    Cheers,

I acknowledge that you do have a good point there, do be careful as to what you post on the forums, there's bound to be someone out there who'll be a complete tool.

But, despite the fact he clearly meant that quote as a joke, same with the earlier guy, there's nothing in the quote that constitutes an offence.
