    Default Vy exhaust.

    Gday all im new here and have inherited a vy commodore and was wanting to know this exhaust system would be a straight fit to a v6 series 2.
    TWIN 2.5" CAT BACK SPORTS EXHAUST VT VX VY VZ HOLDEN (eBay item 360310646685 end time 14-Jan-11 17:01:24 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

    Do not go twin on a stock V6. That system won't fit anyway.

    If it is just noise you want, the I can supply you with a 2 1/2" cat back Manta system for $260. If you want it louder I can do one without a resonator for $220.

    If it is performance you are after, then fit extractors, leave the standard size but replace the mufflers with straight through glass packed items.

    thankyou for the information.

    sorry but i forgot to outline my other plans for purchases:
    1: stage 3 comp cam with retainers and pushrods to suit.
    2.mace 25mm manifold insulator, 69mm throttle body, 82 degree thermostat.
    3.otrcai. extractors of some description.
    thanks any other info is ,much appreciated.
    i also need information about extractors which would bolt up to the factory cats
    i am handy with a welder if i have to

    if your handy with a welder then you wont have a problem ...
    is yours a single cat or dual cat ...
    either way its quite a simple job that i have done myself with limited welding knowledge

    the stock system is dual cat.
