Thread: will 245/40/20 fit a standard VY?

    Default will 245/40/20 fit a standard VY?

    I am going to have a look as some 20" mags today I will be tying them on first just want to know if any one has put 245/40/20 on their VY I am worried about the width and profile though but there dirt cheep $500 with good tyres!

    Not a direct answer, but I have 245/35/20's on mine.

    Should fit but it'll be illegal because the rolling diameter is +20-25mm over standard. Max you can have legally is +15mm. Also depending on your ride height it'll scrub on the guard and rear bumper.

    yeah they will fit i had, 245/40/20 but u need to roll the guards out, and the tyres will burn through your plastic mud guard infront of the tyre.

    I end up changing myn cause the ride was too rough. and the tyres were $200 min when i needed to change them. thought i tell u incase it might help.

    check out my vy ive got ssl springs, 245,35,20, i had to get front and rear gaurds rolled on mine just rubbed the corner of the rear bumper behind the wheel which u cant even see i lov e the look but its a rough ride haha

    Then clearly they don't fit do they!

    Got some 19" wheels now and they look sweeeeet but now it looks like it's sitting to high
    but probably wont lower it, to tight to fork out the $$$$
