    Unhappy check engine light is on!whats wrong?

    i just borght a 2004 holden VY03A 2 weeks ago. 100km. and i did a big service. everything is fine but got one problem! when i driving everything is fine...drive like new....but stop without turning off the engine like 10mins. the check engine light is on! anyone noe whats wrong with my car!?

    It could be any number of things.. Mind I do sit around an under voltage issue maybe... What testing have you done already.. What's the error codes are you getting?

    my guess is it is an Oxygen Sensor problem. There are 2 of them in exhaust manifold on a v6 engine , about
    $80 each , easy to change .

    could be anything o2 sensor throttle sensor oil pressure sensor to many bloody sensors

    mines the same now. i pulled off my whole air intake from throttlebody to box then when i reassembled the engine light came on. what could be the cause? 02 sensor? throttle sensor? help me too haha.
    sorry officer..thought you wanted to race.

    you may have an ambient air leak into the inlet manifold somewhere after the MAF sensor , check your rubber tubes to the heater actuators at the rear of the inlet manifold & the brake booster vacuum hose . make sure the inlet ducting is airtight to the throttle body. Still reckon its the Oxy sensors though......

    yeah i did lol. possibly a leak somewhere, may not be air tight. but im guessing ive definitely buggered a sensor along the intake somewhere.

    Our check engine light started coming on then the motor blew up (injector was staying open and sump had a hole in it)
