    Default gritty vy

    hi there just bought a vy from the auctions with water damage theres no water in the oil or box but i thnk a bit might of got in up the exhaust n up thru the manifold cause the plugs had a bit of water in the firen pin and a bit of sandy like grit cum out wat i wanna know is how can i flush the top end out safely with out havn to pull the head off so i can giv it a kik in the guts cheers benny

    If it has had water damage I'd want to strip it back anyway to make sure there isn't any gunk in the cylinders. You never know how bad it is until you look. For water damage I'd take no risks and do it all properly once rather than try and shortcut and maybe miss something.

    yeah true i might take the inlet manifold off for starters n have a look at the pistons hope fully it hasnt tryed to be started !!
