Looks like a MAP sensor. Is that a vacuum hose coming out the bottom? If it is and goes to the inlet manifold then it is definetly a MAP sensor.

That picture has the brake master cylinder/booster on the passenger side.It looks like its a left hand drive vehicle.
EDIT:Just noticed that old mate is from saudi arabia,no wonder its left hand drive. Its unusual for a VY V6 ecotec to have a MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor instead of using a MAF(Mass Air Flow)sensor.Maybe the overseas models all use MAP instead of MAF.

Thanks guys, its a MAP sensor. But here the problem it is not connected to anything. I need to know where on intake manifold it should be connected to. Mechanics in Saudi Arabia are useless.

There will be a little barb on the intake manifold that the vacuum hose should plug into.

Well after a quick google it seems the american cars with the GM 3800 have both a MAF and MAP sensor. But thats probably not very helpful because the americans have a completely different intake manifold on their naturally aspirated 3800's

Take the plastic engine cover off and have a look around. It's probably near the back of the intake manifold somewhere. If you think you've found it, just put your finger over it (with the engine running) to check if there is a vacuum. If there is then that's probably it!

it may just be using the map as a barometric pressure sensor not plugged into anything im yet to find the tune out of the saudi cars to check out the contents
