steering wheel controls

hey guys ive changed my stereo in my vy and have decided to take out the steering wheel controls, is there blankouts that you can buy to cover the gap where the controls use to be if so where can you buy them from? ive tried repco, supercheap, autobahn, and gm holden and no one seems to have them

Have you thought about getting an interface so you can use the buttons to control your new stereo?
It's much safer and more convenient to keep the steering wheel controls if your new head unit is supported.

why wouldnt you just leave them there even though they dont work? now u have a nice big gaping hole in your wheel

The rear plastic shroud from a steering wheel that does not have stereo controls - source from wreckers, or a whole steering wheel (from a model without controls)from ebay. Look into upgrading to leather and it will be a wortwhile upgrade.

i just left mine in the steering wheel even though they dont work anymore.

but i will be getting the controls through the steering wheel, much more easy instead of looking down all the time.
