Some q's about my VY v6 in vs

Hi all,

I've recently added VY v6 and 2 1/2 exhaust cat back to my vs and I'm wondering, if i get VY extractors am I going to run into problems fitting? Also, with tuning after putting extractors on, I've read there are A few different types of tuning? How do they differ?

There's a few things I want to do but am a bit unsure on how far or little to go with as I don't want to spend every cent I have but i want a noticeable difference to make driving a little more fun. Here are a couple ideas in mind;

- intake(the car runs quite warm regardless of conditions, could upgrading air filter resolve this or would I be better off changing to cold air?)

- cat(I've read that the cat can be opened? am I better off doing that? Whats involved? or upgrading all together?)

- chip(to get a chip would I have to add or upgrade anything else? Does anyone know where I can get in melb for a good price?)
