Distance till empty issues

Hi guys
I have a vy one tonner and about a month ago my distance till empty is reading in the thousands. When it's full it reads 15 000. Obviously this is not correct as I'm lucky to get 450 km out of a tank these days. The setting show that the default is 600km. So I was just wondering how this could possibly be solved? Cheers guys

this is one of the problems I had when my dash was freezing. Because the needles were freezing, the distance to empty was way out. I pulled the dash cluster out, unplugged it, plugged it back in and it reset the whole dash, good as new. Very easy process, I think it was about 8 screws and that was it....

Thanks for that. Do u know if they made a white dash cluster that would fit un the vy? Because if im gonna pull it out I might aswell put a better one in

Yep , The VY HSV's had a lovely , clear white cluster , often come up on Ebay , $300-$400 plus reprogramming it from V8 to V6 will cost about $100 . unless your 1 tonner is a V8??

Yer it's a v8. I found on eBay a white one from cruizin central for 90$ seems not bad? Or should I buy the proper deal.
