2004 Statesman

hey guys,

Just wondering how VE SSV's would go on a 2004 statesman?
As I am looking to buy a set but not sure if they would fit?

And also wondering I'm looking to basically change all the lighting in the car the comes up green (cluster,climate control,stereo - the works) to blue could anyone provide me with information on how
to get the dash apart to do this that would be great

if u mean the SSV rims? the centre has to be machined out to fit, but would look good

yeah meant the ssv's does it cost much 2 get them machined out ?
Saw it on a caprice looked awesome ..so I'm looking to buy a set for my stato

Here's a couple of pics, pretty much stock as a rock but look forward chucking some rims on it and possibly set up a nice sound system in it
getting a 7inch screen installed Friday ill get some pics of that up when i can

nice ride dude, she a V8? (cant see by the pics) no idea on the cost to machine them lol most places that sell them can get it done or already have them in stock try holmart in Moorabin if your close not bad for new ones.

as much as i wish she was unfortunatly that little crappy green P plate on the windshield restricts me - only a 6
hence why im just really trying 2 improve the looks rather than waste $$$ on performance - save the cash for the 8

ahh few of you young blokes with WK/WL statos lol (im only 22 anyway) i just drove around in a $600 camry till i got off my Ps, and got my liscence back..... . :

was third car lol, first weas an XF falcon paid $100 buck for was pretty clean but wrote it off, sencond if my VQ i still have, was more excited about how loud the exhaust was than how good the motor was lol that blew up so brought the camry a month later cuz i had no cash after getting the VQ on a apprentice wages lol

how long u had her? wasnt many around in black when i got my WL

yeah the leather kept me away for awhile was looking a VZ berlina wagons n saw one in leather but a V6 (but had a wrecked rear bar) I drove it then went n saw the caprice next since was a V8 paid deposit straight away picked it up the next week. cant stop driving it now

what you guys got against leather??? Far more serviceable than the crap velour/synthetic trims. GMH leather very good , long lasting but watch out for your back pocket button scratching the lumber support driver side from getting in/out constantly. Leather just needs a freshen up once a year with some leather cream it will twice times outlast velour trim!!!

I have leather in my caprice now. In general, the cloth seats are much comfier. My opinion though

yeah super true once i got it lol i use the leather cream stuff once a month, super comfy for a long drive

well i picked up a set of genuine ve ssvs with tyre for 1k lol so i went with those and chucked em on..looks great!!
ill get some pics up asap

im out of rubber on the rear so running with VX SS rims on the back atm doesnt look to bad but the Caprice ones are heaps nice lol, the tyres were brand new on my VQ stato about 4 years ago, hard as a rock now lol
