auto transmission problem

hi every1 i was jst wondering if any 1 would no why my my auto transmission wnt go into park or reverse its very hard as if sumthings stopping it. it goes into drive fine and goes well but it feels as if sumthing is stopping it goin into reverse. if any 1 has any ideas that would help it would be appreciated

ya gearbox is proberly on its way out
best to check error codes or take it to a shop

Have a look at the linkage, maybe the bush has worn.
