Hi all
Been looking around but this question doesn't look like to be answered on this forum :/
Coming home tonight (Perth is currently raining![]()
)
Powershift "ON" select first gear and off the lights got the wheels spinning bouncing the revs between 4500 - 5500, select 2nd and speedo shows 110 - 120
Once it got to those speeds all of a sudden the dash said "ABS fault" and the abs light is now constantly lit
So I continue to drive home going 70kmph hit the brakes and I have no ABS ??
Can some PLEASEexplain how does ABS interfere with the wheels spinning? I have done this before MANY times yet this is the first ive had an ABS fault
Any answers or ideas would be MUCHLY appreciated![]()
What codes are up? It may just be time where a sensor/unit has failed?? ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) Is just that.. It pulses individual/all wheels that are detected to be out of sync under breaking (speed, tyre rotation) or if a certain pedal depression pressure is reached.
Disconnect batt and remove and reseat the harness to the ABS module.. Fault codes won't be removed
Cheers,
Dave
Cheers Dave found the solution... no codes came up just disconnected the battery for 1 hour went for a drive and light went off
But no the brake pedal was never depressed at the time.
