Help me with my VY PLEASE!!!

ok i have a VY. I'm having a problem with the steering only in the last 2 weeks Only in the mornings or if the car sits for a long period, when i start it as soon as i turn the steering wheel to the left there is a bit of a knock. But it goes away after you drive for a bit. Doesn't happen on a certain part of the steering wheel, i can turn to the right no probs. but when i turn back these is a knock. Other than that you wouldn't know if there was anything wrong.

I have new front struts. had wheel alignments done only couple of months ago.

Would like to know any ideas. please.

dont wanna be smart but have u checkd steerin fluid?

Yeah mate. Im not losing any fluid. Could a fluid change help. Does look abit darker than normal in reservoir. But dont know if it could the new reservoir i got about 12 months ago(darker plastic maybe???). I had new power steering pump installed at the same time.

If it is contaminated could it cause my problem.
