What price do I pay for a VY V6 roughly.

Mates motors had it and I was wondering how much a new or second hand one would be these days. I will remove and refit myself. Its a vy v6 series 2 2003 motor.
Any ideas guys? Im near Campbellfield in Melbourne if someone reading this has an engine tucked away somewhere.
