VY V6 Turboing

I know there are a few forums about turboing a v6 out there but alot of them arent very useful.

I was just wondering what is the best setup for turboing a vy v6? And Is there any places that have DIY kits?

hey mate i got a vy v6 turbo too a guy on here called commotion1 made the manifolds and does a mint job of it to man im pritty sure he can supply you most of the stuff you need mate take a look at my thread it called (turbo) just search this section for it havent posted in a while

How much did your whole turbo setup cost u mate if u dont mind me asking?

well the kit was around the 3 grand mark without the turbo but the turbo cost me $1700 but then theres all ya bits man so hard to say what the whole lot cost

im running a gt 35/40 with a .82 rear wat did u think of the manifolds?? how much you lookin at spending??

manifolds look great, im not bothered about money, gotta wait ages till im of my p's

Another like 2 and a bit years i thin might do it earlier tho and just keep it under wraps haha
