    Default VY LED Parker Strips

    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyones put light strips as parkers on their vys? I bought some These But they dont quiet fit... i was thinking something like the LED SMD Strips (These) But these seem to be spaced to far apart... Anyone know of some that are close together and as thin as the LED SMD Strips?

    Thanks

Where are you mounting these mate? I would have thought they'd look massively out of place on a VY

But they were too tight a fit (5mm) but the 3mm SMDs should fit but theyre spaced too far apart to the ones pictured

a bit of clear window tint over the top of them should stop that from happening.

make sure you wire them properly like the hsv's with drls so that they turn off when the headlights are on otherwise cops can defect you for it

No, parkers remain on with headlights.

A normally closed relay powered by the headlight circuit - when the headlights are turned on the relay opens and the DRL's turn off, easy.

I have no idea. I did this up in paint to show you what to do provided the headlights are +ve switched.

In this setup you turn your lights on to the parker bit and the LED's would turn on, but when the headlights are on the coil would energise, open the contacts and turn the DRL's off and let you keep your parkers on.

If you wanted you could set it up to run off the IGN circuit - that way your tail lights wouldn't turn on.
